Police Reserve Association City of New York Annual Scholarship Examination and Awards Ceremony
On Wednesday, March 25, 2009, from 6-9 PM, the Police Reserve Association will hold its annual college scholarship examination at the Police Academy 235 East 20th Street, New York, NY 10003
There will be eight awards given: One @ $1,500; Two @ $1,500; & Five @ $1,000. The exam will be administered by the Police Reserve Association Board Members and graded by an impartial national testing agency. The exam is open to college bound high school seniors, who will be attending a two or four year college and be matriculated during the period from September 1, 2009 until August 31, 2010. Proof of acceptance to the school must be provided before awards can be claimed.
The examination is open to sons and daughters of active, retired, living or deceased U.M.O.S. of the NYPD. This exam is not open to civilian members of the department.
